I guess I like these types of slides... Three years went by between these photos. The first was taken in winter 2005, in Inwood, Manhattan, when I just started taking photos. The second is from winter 2008, in Long Island City, Queens.

My immigration file has been sent to the French consulate here in NY. I'll soon be able to pick up my long-stay visa. I'm not sure whether I have to wait for the file to arrive before I make the appointment but in either case I expect to have the visa in a few weeks.

bethesda terrace

Everyone's always taking photos of the fountain, but I find this more interesting. This is the passage at Bethesda Terrace that goes under Terrace Drive, providing access to the mall in Central Park. I couldn't really find much information on it unfortunately.
