peeping tom - shower scene

And what were you expecting exactly? There is a large railroad yard in my neighborhood called, not surprisingly, Sunnyside Yard. You can get a good view of it on the 7 train between the Queensboro Bridge and 33rd Street stops. Here's a closer look at the shower:

I'd like to get more photos of the Yard but unfortunately, the bridges have either metal-wire gates or tall metal panels that block the view. This photo was taken through the small slit between panels. It's possible I can get a better view from the Queens Boulevard crossing (this is from the 39th St. crossing).

Oops, I missed a post yesterday. I was going to backdate this one but decided against it.

bethesda terrace

Everyone's always taking photos of the fountain, but I find this more interesting. This is the passage at Bethesda Terrace that goes under Terrace Drive, providing access to the mall in Central Park. I couldn't really find much information on it unfortunately.

getting closer

Today, the French Labor Authority approved my application for a work permit. The next step is for them to send my file to the French consulate in New York, where I'll be able to pick up my long-stay visa.

This photo is from the 6th arrondissement, taken during my last visit to Paris. The café in the center is called Les Deux Magots, where the likes of Sartre, Camus, Hemingway and Picasso (among others I'm sure) used to hang out. On the next corner to the left is Café de Flore, also very famous. By now, of course, these two cafés are pretty much just tourist traps, but still cool to see nonetheless.

vines in princeton

A couple of my friends went to princeton this weekend which reminded me of this photo I took last time I was there. I have a thing for vines.
